The Bowie-Dick test in a ready-to-use autoclave evaluation package is an efficient method for daily monitoring of the pre-vacuum system in steam sterilizers with a vacuum pump.

 

Manufactured according to ISO-11140-4 standard, it identifies the presence of air inside packages, caused by failures during the air removal process or in the effective penetration of steam. The Bowie & Dick cycle should be performed at a temperature of 134°C for 3.5 minutes.

This product is exempt from registration with the Ministry of Health, in accordance with RDC 751/2022 , and is classified as a health product not considered a health product.
