The Bowie-Dick Test in a Ready Pack for Autoclave Evaluation is an efficient method of daily monitoring the pre-vacuum system in steam sterilizers with a vacuum pump.

Manufactured according to ISO-11140-4 standard, it identifies the presence of air inside the packages, caused by failures during the air removal process or in the effective penetration of steam. The Bowie & Dick cycle should be done at a temperature of 134°C for 3.5 minutes.
