Used to determine the effectiveness of the washing phase of lumens and cannulas in a hospital washer-disinfector.

The red bar simulates human blood and organic tissue debris. When placed in the holder and connected to the washer lumen cleaning unit, the indicator is exposed to the same conditions and cycles as a cannula. Removal of the entire red bar indicates effective cleaning.
