The Type i4 multi-parameter chemical indicator, as per ISO 11140-1:2014, was developed to monitor steam sterilization processes under 121°C, 10 minutes // 132/134°C, 3 minute conditions.

Type i4 indicators should be used on any load that does not contain implantable or invasive materials.
